Deposit
To secure the tour operating, a $299.99 (Boat/Heli), $399.99 (No Boat/Heli) per person deposit is required at the time of booking.
This deposit confirms the departure regardless of final group size and allows us to schedule vehicles, activities access, and staffing in advance.
At the time of pickup:
- If 4 or more crew are attending, no additional payment is required.
- If there are 1–3 crew attending, the remaining balance for the applicable group rate is payable to driver on pickup.

If no boat or helicopter availability can be secured, we can still provide return transport with time allocated for scenic walks within Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park.
🚐 Tour Overview
Departure Time:
Varies depending on your confirmed Glacier Boat or Helicopter booking.
Travel Time: Approx. 4.5 hours each way
Journey south through Canterbury farmland and into the Mackenzie Basin, with scheduled comfort stops in Geraldine and scenic photo opportunities along the route.
Arrive in the alpine environment of Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park for your selected experience:
- Glacier Boat Tour: Explore the terminal lake of the Tasman Glacier, navigating between floating icebergs beneath New Zealand’s highest peaks.
- Scenic Helicopter Flight: Soar above glaciers and alpine ridgelines, with snow landing options depending on your selected package.
Following your activity, we begin the return journey to Christchurch.
Time permitting, we may include a scenic stop at Lake Tekapo, including views over the lake and the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd.
Return to Christchurch: Evening arrival (exact time dependent on activity schedule).

The glacier region is alpine and can be significantly colder than Christchurch, even in summer. Please bring:
