Deposit

To secure the tour operating, a per person deposit (depending on group size) is required at the time of booking. Select the group size when booking.

This deposit confirms the departure regardless of final group size and allows us to schedule vehicles, farm access, and staffing in advance.

At the time of pickup:

1. If you have booked for a small group and more crew book a refund of the difference will be applied. e.g you book for 3 crew and then become 7 crew, a refund of the difference will be provided.
2. If you have booked for a larger group and only less actually book show up e.g booked group size of 5 crew & only 3 book/pay the deposit then additional charges for the smaller group apply. To be paid direct to driver at pick up.

🌅 8:00am Morning Tour

Duration: Approx. 4 hours

Departure: 8:00am from hotel

Optional Add-On:

If combining this tour with the Alpaca Farm experience, departure will be 7:15am.

Alpaca Farm entry is $55 per person, payable directly on arrival (discounted CHC Crew Tours rate - normal rate $65).

🛣 Scenic Drive to Akaroa

Travel approx. 1.5 hours via the stunning Banks Peninsula with scenic photo opportunities and a local cheese tasting stop along the way.

⚓ Explore Akaroa

Enjoy free time in the charming French-inspired village of Akaroa:

1. Wander boutique shops
2. Relax at waterfront cafés
3. Explore the harbour foreshore
4. Walk to the scenic historic Akaroa Lighthouse 
5. Optional visit to The Giants House (entry payable onsite)

Breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed at one of the many cafés in town.

Return Timings:

1. Emirates Crew: Depart 11:30am → Arrive hotel approx. 1:00pm
2. Singapore Crew: Return arranged on the day (no later than 2:00pm)
3. If Alpacas Farm Tour is added return timings for EK Crew is 12;15pm Depart Arrival to Hotel 1:30-1:45pm

🌇 2:00pm / 3:00pm Afternoon & Evening Tour

Duration: Approx. 6.5 hours

Departure: Afternoon time confirmed based on your arrival to hotel

If combining this tour with the Alpaca Farm experience, this will be before arriving into Akaroa township.

Travel the scenic Banks Peninsula route to Akaroa.

Enjoy free time to:

1. Stroll the harbour
2. Browse shops and galleries
3. Enjoy dinner with waterfront views

Return:

Depart Akaroa at an agreed time (no later than 7:30pm)

Arrive back at hotel approx. 9:00pm latest
